Red Apple Lipstick Mineral Lipsticks Review
The Red Apple Lipstick Mineral Lipsticks deliver instant hydration to the lips, from the very first swipe. Their rich, creamy formula smooths out the lips, setting the perfect stage for gorgeous color. If you’re prone to dry lips like me, these are especially great as they eliminate the once essential ‘lip balm pre-step’, making them great for quick, on-the-go applications.
When it comes to pigmentation, these lipsticks pack a lot of punch, but can also be adjusted to fit your style – apply lightly for natural, sheer coverage, you swipe on 1-2 coats for full-on color. Once on, they set to a satin finish that adds a soft sheen to the lips.
As you wear them, the satiny finish gradually wear off first, leaving behind a more matte look. The pigmentation however, remains evenly molded to the lips, providing hours and hours of wear, even through drinking. I can easily get over four hours with these, only having to reapply after eating.
Oh My Guava is a gorgeous nude-pink color that features more pink undertones rather than brown to achieve a more natural looking nude lip. It is from RAL’s Instant Color collection, and provides near full-coverage with just one swipe.
Mabel is a medium mauve, rose pink that creates a natural, ‘your-lips-only-better’ look. It is from RAL’s X Series collection. Mabel applies semi-sheer, and can be built up to full-coverage with a few extra coats.
Overall, if you’re looking for an ultra-hydrating lipstick that will keep your lips looking and feeling good for hours on end, these safe, clean, and good-for-you lipsticks from Red Apple Lipsticks are worth checking out. You can find them at redapplelipstick.com, where they retail for $23.50 each. They also offer little sample packs if you want to experiment with different shades or try out their formula.
