For those of us with oily or combination skin, it can be a struggle to find an effective, deeply hydrating night cream that doesn’t clog pores as the formula sits on our skin overnight. Up until now, I’d been using the Origin’s Overnight Mask, which I found to be super hydrating, but also super heavy, resulting in whiteheads and pimples every so often. Fortunately, I came across a new night cream that provides intense hydration, but also keeps my skin in check at the same time – it’s called the The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream.

The Body Shop Oils of Life Sleeping Cream Review
Formula – Despite the fact that its main ingredients are seed oils, The Body Shop Oils of Life Sleeping Cream actually feel more like a light, cushiony gel. It has a fairly spicy, almost masculine scent (kind of reminds me of Old Spice Aftershave – mmmm :)) that lingers on the skin for sometime. If you’re sensitive to fragrances however, then you may want to test this out first (the added ‘fragrances’ are pretty high up in the ingredients list, so there’s enough to possibly cause irritation).
Application – Rather than just sitting on top of the skin like heavier night creams, this one absorbs within seconds and appears to get to work on the skin right away – almost instantly, it leaves my skin feeling soothed and more radiant. And because the formula soaks into the skin so quickly, there’s no sticky or wet residue left to transfer onto your pillow.
My skin approximately 10 seconds after smoothing the cream into my skin. Look, no greasy residue!
Results – After just one use, I woke up to plumper, softer, and more hydrated skin. The most amazing thing was, after 3 uses, my combination skin had completely balanced out – my dry spots were gone, while my T-zone looked matte with less oilies. I’ve now been using this regularly for about two weeks, with no reaction to the fragrances on my sensitive skin, and absolutely no breakouts – just smooth, balanced, glowing skin! Needless to say, the Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream has become a staple in my skincare routine.
Overall, if you’re looking for an intensive, effective night cream, I’d absolutely recommend giving The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream a try. While other night creams can come across heavy and greasy, this one feels so lightweight and refreshing. Not to mention, it delivers – expect to see plumper, hydrated, soothed, and more radiant skin.
Especially if you have combination or oily skin like me, and have trouble finding an intensive night cream that won’t cause breakouts or pore congestion, The Body Shop Oils of Life Sleeping Cream is a must to try out!
