Ardell Luckies Black False Lashes Review

I’ve been experimenting with a lot of false lashes lately, and trying out different brands and styles.  At this point, I’ve been keeping to the more natural looking false lashes that add just a touch of glamour, but are still ‘everyday’ wearable – you know, the ones you can get away with wearing to school or work.

So today I decided to try out my new Ardell Luckies Black lashes for the first time!  These are part of Ardell’s Natural lash collection, meaning they come quite close to looking like natural lashes, only with some extra oomph.  🙂

Ardell Luckies Black False Lashes Review

As you can see from the pictures, the Luckies lashes feature very defined groups of lashes.  The groups are all separated out with an equal amount of space between each one.  They also feature a nice variety of shorter and longer lashes in each little section, with the longest of the lashes in the center, and the shorter ones on the outside, which (as you may be able to see from the photos) start to span out a bit once the lashes are applied.

Overall, I’m really liking these lashes.  That add volume and definition to your lashes, without looking too over-the-top, as I sometimes find being the case with false lashes.  Personally, I think these are one of the most natural looking pairs of lashes I’ve worn so far!

Comparison with other Ardell Lashes

In comparison to the two other Ardell fashion lashes that I’ve tried, the Luckies lashes are shorter than both the Ardell 120 Demi black lashes (review here) and the Fairies lashes (review here).  In terms of volume, I’d say they fall somewhere in-between the 120 Demi Blacks and the Fairies.  For definition and separation, this is where they really shine, and top the other two.

Also, make sure you have lash glue to apply these (the lashes typically don’t come with glue).  I recommend using Ardell’s lash glue, which comes in both clear and dark (I use clear).
