Dailylook Elite Review & Try On | Box #6

Dailylook Elite September 2017 review, unboxing

Today I’m sharing my latest DailyLook Elite box for September.  I’ve had a lot of luck with my past Elite boxes (you can check them all out here), so I decided to continue my subscription into fall.  How did my stylist do this month?  Keep on reading to see all 8 pieces from my box, along with my review of each.

Dailylook Soft & Sweet Floral Tank

Dailylook Soft & Sweet Floral Tank

Dailylook Soft & Sweet Floral Tank ($68) – I love racerback, sleeveless tops.  I wear them all year round, and under jackets and sweaters in the fall and winter.  This one fit the bill perfectly – from its muted floral design to its soft, flowy fit.  KEPT

Olivia Grey Off Shoulder Tie Sleeves Top

Olivia Grey Off Shoulder Tie Sleeves Top

Olivia Grey Off Shoulder Tie Sleeves Top ($84) – This is my second find from Olivia Grey (I purchased another top of hers from my July Elite box).  This top has a unique, almost denim-like texture, yet maintains a super soft feel and slightly flowy fit.  The sides stay in place without feeling constricting, and while I was a bit turned off by the sleeve ties at first, they quickly grew on me.  KEPT

LS Nelly Cold Shoulder Strappy Top

LS Nelly Cold Shoulder Strappy Top

Dailylook Nelly Cold Shoulder Strappy Top ($79) – Right off the bat, I loved this top’s light silver color and soft, flowy fit.  The strap back detailing was the cherry on top.  KEPT

Dailylook Lisa Lace Up Knit Top

Dailylook Lisa Lace Up Knit Top ($64) – Maybe in my early 20’s or high school years I would have loved the style of this shirt, but not so much now.  It was also a bit too tight for my liking and made of that clingy, spandex-y fabric I always fit myself pulling at throughout the day.  RETURNED

Dailylook SL Irene Keyhole Top

Dailylook SL Irene Keyhole Top

Dailylook Irene Keyhole Top ($69) – I love sleeveless tops and have also been digging the choker collars.  With this piece in particular however, I wasn’t crazy about the fit (the armholes were pretty large) and also the color wasn’t the most flattering on me (muted, medium tones don’t complement my skin tone that well). RETURNED

Jack by BB Dakota Rocco Plaid Tunic

Jack by BB Dakota Rocco Plaid Tunic

Jack by BB Dakota Rocco Plaid Tunic ($88) BB Dakota is one of my favorite brands, and I also love plaid, so I was excited about this piece initially.  It’s made of a lightweight flannel that fits surprisingly well – very tailored.  The only problem for me was the length – I’m 5’7″ and it hit a bit too short to wear as a dress, but also too long for my taste to wear over a top with jeans or shorts. RETURNED

Just Black Ariel Mid Rise Cropped & Distressed Fray Hem Skinny Jeans

Just Black Ariel Mid Rise Cropped & Distressed Fray Hem Skinny Jeans

Just Black Ariel Mid Rise Cropped & Distressed Fray Hem Skinny Jeans ($88) – This was the first pair of ankle-length jeans that my stylist sent me.  They fit pretty well – a little tight but super comfy and stretchy nonetheless.   I loved everything about them style-wise, except for the over-exaggerated distressing in the front.  I like a little rip here and there, but these were just a bit too over-the-top for me. RETURNED

Hudson Krista Lowrise Ankle Skinny Jeans

Hudson Krista Lowrise Ankle Skinny Jeans ($205) – This last pair was completely off size-wise (I’m 27/28 and got a 24), so I couldn’t even try them on.  That’s too bad because I loved the style, color, and slight distressing. RETURNED

Summary

My stylist’s picks keep getting better with each box.  She met all my requests this month, adding in cold shoulder/off the shoulder tops, a plaid button down shirt, and a few pairs of jeans.  Overall, I ended up finding three new tops to add to my closet, which made this round of Dailylook Elite another success.  Stay tuned for another box coming soon!
