Spring is here, the weather is getting warmer, and pretty soon we’ll be storing away our scarves, turtlenecks, and winter jackets and breaking out sleeveless tops and strappy dresses. With less layers of clothing and more skin to show off, now is the time to start playing up our jewelry game – we’re talking bright pops of color, earthy elements, and modern, geometric shapes.

Kendra Scott – one of my all-time favorite jewelry brands – focuses on all three in her latest Spring 2019 Collection. Whether you’re into delicate, minimalist pieces or bold statement pieces, her lines offers styles to suit everyone’s style. Here are a few of my personal favorite pieces from the collection to wear from work to play!

For Work: Exotic Shells

One of my favorite jewelry materials to wear this year is abalone shell – I just love its unique mix of multi-dimensional blues and greens. On the left above, I’m wearing Kendra Scott’s Kensley Rose Gold Hoop Earrings which are the perfect size for everyday. At 2 inches long, they catch the eye yet are very work-friendly and extremely wearable and lightweight.

To add a little pop of color to the neck, I like to balance out the earrings with a dainty necklace like the Miya Rose Gold Pendant Necklace, and then occasionally I’ll throw in another statement piece like the Kit Cocktail Ring in Rose Gold to pull the look together come happy hour!

For Play: Mixed Metals

Ready to add some real drama to your look? Go all out with a multi-layered necklace featuring textured metals. The Lena Statement Necklace in Gold is a favorite style of mine – it has the ability to instantly dress up even the most basic white tee. Plus I just love its edgy, modern look. It pairs beautifully with stud earrings, but if you really want to make a statement, wear it with the Liz Statement Earrings in Gold which also features modern-looking geometric shapes and textured metals.

For Weekends: Geometric Shapes

The work week is over, which means it’s time to have a little fun and experiment! Step out of your comfort zone and try a jewelry style that’s a bit unusual, and a bit bolder than what you typically go for. Hoop earrings are great pieces to explore as they come in so many different shapes, sizes, and materials. Kendra Scott has some of the most gorgeous styles, including these ultra-lightweight and visually unique Kai Bright Silver Hoop Earrings in Black Pearl. Pop these on along with some delicate silver rings and you’re set.
