Rocksbox Jewelry Unboxing & Review – April 2015

rocksbox jewelry box

After experimenting with the jewelry pieces in my last Rocksbox, I decided it was time to refresh my jewels and try a new set.

I have to say that this most recent box is one of my favorites. My stylist is really getting good at finding me pieces that fit my style, and it’s getting harder and harder for me to choose which ones to keep! (I’ll typically treat myself to one piece per box, but lately, the boxes have been going back with less and less inside!)

Overall though, I do really like the whole feedback system that Rocksbox features in their subscription service.  It’s incredibly useful, and ultimately helps them help you find new jewelry that you’ll love.  If you make use of it, each box will just keep getting better and better.

My Rocksbox Review

So here I am again with three new gorgeous jewels from Rocksbox that are exactly what I like, and completely fit my style.  This is, 1) a layer-able necklace, 2) a sophisticated & modern cuff, and 3) a light-weight pair of earrings that add some extra glitz to an everyday outfit.

Here are the three beautiful pieces that I received:

Perry Street Charlotte Earrings

I really love this earrings. And these definitely would have stayed with me if I hadn’t already purchased a very similar looking pair, also by Perry Street, that came in a past Rockbox… (the Perry Street Gwen Crystal Studs).

gorjana etched cuff bracelet

Gorjana Kate Zig Zag Etch Cuff

The Gorjana cuff was amazing, as is most everything from Gorjana… With its etched pattern and gold plating, it looked unique, classy, and high quality. It featured a chain and clasp closure to make it easier to slip on and off your wrist. Unfortunately though, it just didn’t fit me quite how I like my cuffs to fit – which is nice and fitted/tight on my wrists. So far, I’ve only had luck with House of Harlow cuffs.  It’s too bad because the design, size, and quality all impressed me.

House of Harlow 1960 Sunburst Bar Wrap Necklace & Gorjana Kate Zig Zag Etch Cuff

My favorite jewelry piece out of this Rocksbox was the House of Harlow 1960 Sunburst Bar Wrap Necklace. I like how it can be worn two ways – long or layered into two shorter chains. Plus the look of the necklace, with its various sized bars scattered around the chain and black sunburst designs, was pretty unique.  I ended up deciding to keep this one and sent the other two back (reluctantly though!).
