Looking for some new spring accessories and beauty bits? Today I’m sharing five effortless, on-trend finds that can be easily added to any wardrobe. Each was handpicked by the fashion icon Rachel Zoe herself, and included in her Box of Style Spring 2019 Edition. (New to the box? You can find out more about it here!)
“Spring is my favorite time for a style refresh. A few breezy essentials make it so simple to elevate everything from blazers and boots to feminine dresses to jeans and a T-shirt. So incorporate a little glamour into your look this season—I promise it’s never been easier!” – Rachel Zoe
Edible Beauty Gold Rush Eye Balm (Value: $65) – Edible Beauty is a relatively new natural skincare brand that’s been on my radar for a while now, so I was excited to see it in this box! The Spring 2019 Edition box included the brand’s gold leaf-infused eye cream (which you can also find at Sephora).
Of the 5 or so eye creams I have on rotate (a majority of which I’ve accumulated via my favorite clean beauty subscription boxes), I’ve been reaching for this one the most recently. It’s all-natural and consistency-wise, it feels incredibly rich, silky-smooth, and downright luxurious. I can’t wait to try out other products from Edible Beauty’s skincare line – this set is looking like the perfect introduction!
Skin Gym Rose Quartz Heart Gua Sha (Value: $32) – Another skincare item in this season’s box is a Gua Sha tool. I first started using this tool back in November of last year, when I received one from Odacite through the clean beauty subscription The Detox Box. While Odacite’s version is heavier and longer than Skin Gym’s, I feel like it’s more effective at ‘lifting’ the face since it 1) applies slightly more pressure and 2) targets a larger area of the face at one time.
Skin Gym’s, however, comes in handy because it’s lightweight and more compact, so it’s great for travel. I wasn’t able to find the exact one online, but here’s a very similar one that actually retails for slightly cheaper.
If you’re curious to learn more about the benefits of using a Gua Sha tool, as well as how to do it properly, linked above is a super helpful tutorial that I recommend watching!
Michelle Campbell Gold Talon Bracelet Set ($215) – I’m a sucker for minimalist bangles, and these fit the bill. Bonus – they’re adjustable, so they fit all wrist sizes, plus you can move them up the arm for more ‘boho’ style look and they’ll actually stay put! These bracelets are box exclusives, however, if you’re on the market for some similar ones, Kendra Scott has gorgeous cuffs featuring natural stones. I’m also loving this astronomy-inspired cuff set from Jules Smith!
Chan Luu Silk Scarf ($105) -I’m really diggin’ the whole silk scarf trend – they look so chic and Parisian, even when worn with just a basic white tee and jeans. I also have one of my favorite fashion bloggers to thank for teaching me how to tie it!
The one featured in the Spring 2019 Box of Style is 100% silk and ultra-lightweight – perfect for a winter-to-spring transition. It can be worn in so many other ways too, like wrapped around the head (like a headband), tied around a ponytail, or even tied around a purse handle. They’re so versatile that I’ve been looking to add more to my collection, like this gorgeous pink scarf, and these skinny scarfs (which I imagine would work beautifully as headbands!).
Tribe Alive Leather Clutch ($78) – This minimalist little clutch is perfect for holding a phone, a slim wallet, and keys when you need to make a quick run out the door. It looks very chic, plus it can be easily turned into a shoulder bag using the silk scarf that came in this same box. You can watch how Rachel does it on Instagram. The brand also offers a very similar clutch, only with a handy, built-in card holder, which you can find here.
