NARS Oasis Blush Review

NARS blushes are known for their rich pigmentation and excellent staying power.  On top of that, they offer an excellent range of beautiful colors to choose from.  NARS Oasis blush is my absolute favorite out of their blush line, especially to wear in the Fall and Winter months.  Here’s my review, plus with swatches and application of NARS Oasis.

NARS Oasis Blush Review

The NARS Oasis blush is a champagne-pink shade that I think would suit any skin tone since it’s quite neutral (not too cool, nor too warm-toned).

As you can see in the swatch below, the NARS Oasis blush does contain a few larger specks of glitter.  Once on the cheek though, I don’t think it’s too overwhelming.

If you’re opposed to wearing any kind of glitter on your face, but still want to take advantage of this beautiful blush, I found that by tapping off your brush a few times before applying it, you can knock a lot of those little guys off.

Since the NARS Oasis blush is very pigmented, I will typically apply this with a stippling brush (which is less dense than regular powder brushes) for a lighter wash of color, like the MAC 187 Duo Fibre Face Brush (as shown below) or the Sigma F50 Duo Fibre Brush.

I imagine Oasis would also work beautifully for someone with a darker complexion as well by building up the color or using a denser brush to develop a deeper shade.
