Love Goodly February / March 2019 Review & Unboxing 02

The Love Goodly for February / March brings us fresh new skincare, essential makeup tools, and a delicious treat…  New to Love Goodly? Here’s a quick summary of how their subscription service works –

Love Goodly is a bi-monthly subscription box that brings you 4-5 beauty and lifestyle items, all non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free through their Essential box. Their curated picks focus primarily on skincare, body care, and makeup products, though occasionally they’ll include an eco style accessory, wellness product, or a healthy snack. Everything item is full size and total box value always exceeds $80. The box ships to the US for $34.95 bi-monthly and Canada for $50.95 bi-monthly.

In addition to delivering an amazing selection of cruelty-free and non-toxic products every other month, Love Goodly donates a portion of each sale toward a worthy cause (which you can read more about here on their website). This Love Goodly box supports Farm Sanctuary, whose mission is “to protect farm animals from cruelty, inspire change in the way society views and treats farm animals, and promote compassionate vegan living”.

Now let’s take a peek inside!

Love Goodly February/March 2019 Review

The February/March 2019 Love Goodly box features four full-sized beauty & lifestyle products, including two skincare products, one beauty tool, and a snack.  Here’s the full rundown…

Aisling Organics Duel-Sided Luxe Shadow Brush (Value: $18) – I really appreciate these more compact, duel-ended makeup brushes whenever I’m traveling.  This vegan eyeshadow brush has two sides that allow you to pack on color, blend it out, and even line around the eyes.  It also works equally well for applying and smoothing out concealer!

Flower Mill Balm Shell Facial Cleansing Balm (Value: $42) – I love cleansing balms, especially in the drier winter months.  They work amazing as makeup removers, and the best part is that they don’t strip the skin or throw it off balance (so they’re great for oily skin types too!).  This one in particular is formulated with coconut oil, shea butter, and mango butter, plus a blend of small batch essential oils, including rosehip seed, lavender, and neroli.  It feels and smells amazing, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.  (If you have sensitive skin, just be careful as the essential oils are quite potent and may cause irritation.  I recommend starting off with a small amount and then thoroughly rinsing off.)

Zatik Gratitude Face Serum (Value: $32) – To me, this was the shining star in the box (only because I’m a sucker for natural creams and serums!).  It’s packed with fresh herbs, raw flower and vegetable seed oils, marine algae, and lightweight jojoba and coconut oils.  Between the natural, 100% organic ingredients, and the hydrating (yet lightweight and fast-absorbing) formula, this serum makes for an amazing refresher for my dry skin!

Fine & Raw Chocolate (Value: $8.50) – Lastly, Love Goodly included a little ‘healthy’ treat – a 70% cacao bar that’s lightened sweetened with natural coconut sugar.  It’s also vegan, gluten free, organic, and created sustainably in small batches.  Needless to say, it tasted incredible and was gone in one afternoon! 😛  Curious to learn more about the brand?  Check them out here!
