Glossybox Holiday 2016 Limited Edition Box Review

The GLOSSYBOX 2016 Holiday Limited Edition box features a bunch of winter-ready beauty products, ranging from hydrating skincare to shimmery, rose-toned makeup.  Here’s the full rundown, along with my review of each of the products.

GLOSSYBOX Holiday 2016 Limited Edition Box reviewSKIN&CO Roma Truffle Therapy Cleansing OilThis is an incredibly rich and hydrating oil cleanser that I’m looking forward to using this winter.  It does an amazing job at removing makeup (even more stubborn waterproof makeup), and leaves skin feeling super soft and hydrated thanks to the sweet almond oil, organic argan oil and Truffle Extract.  A little bit goes a long way, so this bottle will last a while!

Figs & Rouge Avance + Invisible Pores Night Detox SerumThis silky-smooth, fast-absorbing serum helps detoxify, purify, minimize and unclog pores as you sleep.  Apply it before your moisturizer to help shrink your pores for a smoother makeup application in the morning.  So far my skin is loving this, and I look forward to seeing what it does in the long-run for my T-zone congestion. HG serum for combo skin?  We’ll see!

Babor #Masterpiece Ampoule SetTo banish dryness and achieve glowing skin, GLOSSYBOX has included this skin-boosting set, good for 4, full day uses.  It comes with two types of ampoules – one for mornings, one for evenings – each of which contains ingredients like hyaluronic acid for intensive hydration. I’m anxious to try this out during the dry months coming up, as soon as my skin starts sending out an SOS for help!

NutraLuxe MD Retro Brow Prime & Extend Duo – This all-in-one NutraLuxe MD brow product helps to create the look for fuller brows through a 3-step system.  First, you apply the primer, then coat your hairs with the fine cellulose fibers, then lock them in with the primer again.  The whole process can be a bit messy, but the end result is pretty impressive – my brows come out looking naturally thicker and fuller.  (The color of the ‘Dark Brown’ fibers are a bit too warm for me, but they blend in perfectly after I apply the primer/lock coat).

dome Beauty Diamond Shadow – Each box comes with a Diamond Shadow from Dome Beauty (one of two color options).  I received the shade “Patina”, which is a neutral rosy shade that pairs beautifully with both cool and warm eyeshadows.  Despite the shimmer, it’s actually very wearable, for both the office and nights out.

Bad Medina Cosmetics Like No Other Invested Shimmer LipstickGet a super glammed-out shimmery lip with this hydrating lippie from Bed Medina Cosmetics. The shade “Like No Other” is a warm rose with lots of fine gold shimmer, which creates a multi-dimensional, party-ready lip look.
