After putting it to the test today, I’ve already added it to my shopping list to buy spares for my beach trips, camping trips, and my purse!

Busy Beauty’s Showerless Shave Gel offers us adventurous, busy girls an easy way to shave – anytime and anywhere – without the use of water. That’s right, there’s no need for water pre or post shave, so you can get super smooth legs in your camp tent, discreetly in an office or airplane bathroom, or even in your car (though no while driving of course!). The bottle size is TSA-approved, so it’s perfect for all types of trips.
How Does it Work?
The gel is super rich and silky, just on its own, that there’s no need to lather. It contains natural antiseptic ingredients and nutrient rich oil extracts – including clove, ginger, eucalyptus, oat, and tea tree extracts – that act as a protective barrier against razor burn, cuts, ingrowns, and shaving irritation. The formula is so silky and hydrating that it also doubles as a moisturizer – when you’re all done shaving, simply rub in the remaining gel for extra smooth legs!

Busy Beauty Showerless Shave Gel Review
I’ve been guilty of shaving on dry skin before – eee! While it may work for quick touch-ups, it’s risky and near impossible to get a super close shave. After trying out the Busy Beauty Showerless Shave Gel, I don’t think I’ll ever take that chance again.
For my first test, I did a little comparison, shaving one leg in the shower using my regular lather and rinse shave gel, then waiting until my skin was completely dry before shaving with the Busy Beauty Showerless Shave Gel.
To my surprise, the shaving process using the Busy Beauty Showerless Shave Gel was as non-irritating as shaving with water and my regular in-shower cream. The clear gel formula helps the razor glide smoothly over the skin, even around more difficult areas like the knees. What happens once you’re all done shaving? The gel gradually starts to absorb, feeling a tad bit sticky in the meantime. Keep rubbing it in (or simply wait a minute or two), and it completely disappears, leaving behind no sticky/oily residue.
My final results? Judging by the look and feel of both my legs, the Showerless Shave Gel performed just as well as my in-shower shave gel, if not better. Don’t be fooled by the lack of lather – some of the best shave gels don’t lather at all, which allows the formula to sit closer to the skin for a better glide and protection. Well, this works just the same, and the results proved it – I was able to get super close yet nick-free shave using my favorite, super-sharp Dollar Shave Club blades. The extra bonus? Unlike my shower shave gel leg, which was looking dry and lackluster, the one I shaved showerless had a much healthier sheen to it, thanks to the extra hydrating ingredients!
Needless to say, the Busy Beauty Showerless Shave Gel has become a welcome addition into my beach/camping/work bag this summer – and I imagine many summers to come! If you find yourself in need of a quick shaves between showers/baths, I recommend grabbing a bottle and tossing it in your bag – it’s sure to come in handy!
