Now that Summer is in full swing, I’ve been trying to spend some time everyday enjoying the weather and getting outside – whether it be a quick wake to Starbucks, or taking a walk through the woods. I’ve also been more adventurous with my outfits and experimenting with some new styles – like this dress I received from VIPme. Today I wanted to share a quick outfit, along with my overall VIPme review.
This Sleeveless Midi Dress by D.Fanni comes with a silk fitted slip that peeks out from under the dress, followed by a sheer midi dress that layers on over top. The combination of the two makes for a super lightweight and breezy dress – perfect for a hot Summer day, but also a piece that easily transitions into a night look. It comes in a gorgeous muted lilac that looks especially great with paler skin-tones, and also darker/tan skin (I’m still working on mine!). (They also have it available in red which I imagine would look especially great for a night out.)
Between the slightly conservative midi length, muted lilac color, and waist and neckline detailing, this dress has a cute vintage vibe going for it. At the same time, the sheer skirt and sleeves, and military inspired shoulder detailing give it a more updated, modern feel. It the perfect blend of styles if you’re looking for something unique to wear this Summer!
