Now, without further ado, let’s take a look at all the beauty bits inside the Petit Vour box for April 2018…
Suntegrity Skincare Vanish Organic Cleansing Oil (Travel size, Value: $8) – First up is a rich, luxurious-feeling cleansing oil. It features a blend of green tea, jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed oil, rosehips extract, and echinacea extract, which removes everything from stubborn eye makeup to thick, greasy sunscreens. Meanwhile, the nourishing organic ingredients help prevent damage to skin cells while feeding them with nutrients and vitamins.
On top of working as an amazing, gentle cleanser, it also doubles as a moisturizer – a light layer remains after you wipe away all the grime with a wet cotton pad/washcloth, and leaves the skin looking and feeling incredibly smooth, supple, and glowy!
To me, this is the perfect minimalist skincare product. I can imagine using this post-beach in the summertime especially, to cleanse, re-hydrate, and nourish the skin after being out in the sun, all in one easy step.
Andalou Naturals Age Defying Face Cream Pods (Sample size, Value: $3.29) – Next, they’ve included a face cream from Andalou Naturals, which will be one of these three: Hyaluronic DMAE Lift & Firm Cream, Reservatrol Q10 Night Repair Cream, Goji Peptide Perfecting Cream. I received the Lift & Firm cream, which is formulated for those of us with dry/very dry skin. It features a fruit stem cell complex, resveratrol CoQ10, and hyaluronic acid which help “boost dermal vitality, supporting essential building blocks, collagen and elastin, for a more lifted, firmer, youthful appearance and rejuvenated complexion”.
I used this once so far on my face and neck, and although it says it’s single use, I still have enough left for 2-3 more uses (which makes me happy because I’m really considering purchasing this!). I’m loving the formula so far – it feels so buttery-smooth and instantly melts into my skin, leaving it intensely hydrated, soft, and supple to the touch. Where was this in my life last winter?!
Niu Body Piña Colada Lip Polish (Full size, Value: $10) – Moving onto the lips, we have a scrumptious little scrub that transports me to a tropical beach resort as soon as I open up the pot! It contains large granules of sugar that exfoliate and remove dry skin as you massage it into your lips. Wipe the sugar away – or lick it off, that’s what I do 😛 – and a layer of rich oils remain, including avocado, coconut, and jojoba oil, which deeply hydrate and naturally nourish the lips.
Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments™ Last Looks Cream Blush (Full size, Value: $25) – Now that our skin and lips are refreshed and smooth, why not top them off with a little touch of color? The last product Petit Vour included in this box is a gorgeous, summer-ready cream blush. Formulated with an exclusive Moisture Blend (of vegetable glycerin, grapeseed oil & phospholipids plus vegetable hyaluronic acid) and their Phyto-Pigments exclusive blend (of rose and purple carrot), it hydrates, blends in effortlessly, and adds a natural looking flush and glow to the cheeks (and the lips too!).
Subscribers will receive one of four shades, ranging from: Flush (a nude beige), Orange Blossom (a bright coral), Peony (a raspberry pink), and Seashell (a bright pink). I received the shade Seashell which is a medium warm pink (it leans a bit on the coral side on my light/medium neutral-toned skin). It’s so easy to blend out with the fingers, and is buildable from sheer to near-opaque coverage.
