Julep Caitlin nail polish is a pretty, bright pink polish (almost a “Barbie pink”) with a slight transparency (which you can make out in the above photos – the whites of my nails are slightly visible, even under two coats). It’s described on Julep’s website as a “shimmer” polish, and contains very fine gold shimmer.
Caitlin is one of those polishes that is great for special occasions like Valentine’s Day (you can check out my V-Day look here!), as well as for summer parties – times when I want to add that extra pop of playful color. But if you’re going for a more conservative look, say, for the office, I’d say skip it. You’ll find Julep Caitlin to be a tad too ‘young and girly’ looking for those occasions! 🙂
